March 19, 2004nitro ...my run are very well documented im sorry your in denial too but my 13.71 at 99mph is real ....if you would stop and think about it why would i call all the boys from the ford chevy and dodge sites to come to the track if i was hiding something i called them all out last year and this year.....some thought that i was running juice and when they came to the track and seen my truck they ate there words my hood was always open for people to look at.... no one ever found juice and all my claims where real you should email some of the guys that where at the track that seen my truck run my friends what would be the point to call everyone to the track if i was hiding something ...this jewmont3 is in denial....are you there too???

March 19, 2004Dude, I never questioned your run. I never said you did or didn't make that pass... Read what I wrote.
My comment was on the intake and exhaust performace gains, not the
ET or MPH that you "say" you have run.
I haven't seen the truck run. I haven't seen the truck period.
I won't comment on something that I haven't seen.
I can however comment that you DID NOT pick up 50hp by a minor intake mod and a completely open exhaust.
You are telling us that your truck is 395 hp with a minor intake mod and open exhaust, and that my friend is what I am calling you out on...
Take it to a dyno, take pics on the dyno, and show us a dyno slip... then, MAYBE I will believe your claim. Why is it that YOU can get these kind of numbers when no one else in the world can?
March 19, 2004open exhaust dropped my et 3 tenths and gave me 4mph in the 1/4 mile my intake gave me 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile tmr mod gave me 4 tenths suspension mods gave me 2-3 tenths.....my truck ran bone stock 14.9s in the 1/4 mile in the summer hot air my new times are in the cold air and thats worth another 3 tenths do the math ......there are several hemi trucks well in the 14s with less mods i only have $100 in mods spring clamps homemade intake 2 inch lowering shackles and some free mod anyone can do
March 19, 2004nitro....im going to dyno it soon and i will post my hp findings 390-400 at the crank and 310- 320hp at the wheels is my guess...we will know soon and i will post
March 23, 2004You are so full of crap dude. I dont know where you get any of your numbers but you must be the best driver in the world. You must be driving at sea level too! and why in the world would you race and mod a work truck hemi when you have a WS6 and leave it stock?!?!? seriously man i will never believe a word you say only because I know what kind of a person you are. 50hp on exhaust and intake-homeade!!?? you are insane!
March 23, 2004ya i dont know what im talking about yet you have been caught in manly lies in all these sites...hmmm makes alot of sense...
March 23, 2004hemi777,
only a $100 bucks in mods? What are the exact mods? For your 5000lbs to get down th 1/4 in 13.7 at 99mph you have to have at least 330 rear wheel hp. And these figures assume your running something a little more aerodynamic than a truck! The Hemi puts out 345 hp - 20% to 30% less at the rear wheels. So that leaves you at most 276 hp at the rear wheels. What mods did you do that bought you 50 to 60 hp for only $100. My homemade coldair intake cost $50 with K&N filter. That's only good for 8 to 15 hp. Any mods that gain you 50+ hp would require your computer to be modified. That alone is a $300 mod!
Laws of Physics don't lie.
March 23, 2004jewmont3,
Our hemi friend makes some stange claims.
20hp from an intake mod? K&N, Airriad, and others don't even make that claim! 30hp gain from open exhaust? through the stock manifolds? boy someone should call Banks Engineering! HOTRODTV didn't get that much gain through open headers!
Using royal purple in the rearend, tranny and engine can gain 5+ hp but even if he did that, it would cost at least $70.
I buy the 1/4 mile time, I just don't buy the $100 mods.
I'll look under the hood anytime, but it would be a waste of time. Mods to the computer can't be seen with the eye. It would be hard to notice more efficient injectors, modified valve train parts, or other "small mods".
Let's get real here. If you could gain 50+ hp for under a $100 don't ya think Petersen Publishing would be running Headlines on it in all of their car magazines.
No doubt about it, the Hemi is a proven strong motor, but it will take a lot more than $100 to get 50+ more HP out of it.
He needs to come back to reality!
I've wasted enough time on this.
March 24, 2004ya its the same thing everytime with this guy. he says no computer mods because no one has come out with a chip or programmer for the hemi yet. at least that was the case a few months ago when he was flamming in the chevy truck board. I checked the ford board as well and he was flamming over there too. I guess they actually caught him in a few lies too. I think this guy was one of those kids you knew in highschool that was always trying to impress people with things he didnt have just to be accepted. I feel bad for the lil bugger but he does it to himself i suppose.
March 27, 2004jewmont.....show me what lies i have told ....i was playing with the ford guys and asked them if a new f150 could beat a hemi truck and i was trying to find out what they would run in the new 04 f150 your a total jackass and i will prove you wrong i will get my tyuck dynoed and have a video of my truck at the track with the ford chevy and dodge guys there at the track i already did that but i will do it again ......
to the other guy ...there is no programmer out for the hemi trucks yet do some homework theres no cams or anything but a intake and the intake that are out are not true cold air intakes...mine is its a homemade true cold air intake ....the hemis run real rich on top end so buy opening the exhaust that realy helps its worth 30hp thats with no cat or muffler then there other mods that will lower your et and not show up as hp gains like weight removal and suspension mods that i have done thats why if you take two trucks that are the same and on has suspension mods and some weight removal they might dyno the same but the one with the mods will beat the crap out of the one that doesnt also i dont know if you know about the tmr mod its worth 4 tenths in the 1/4 mile on the 03 hemi trucks and it wont show up on the dyno i will dyno my truck and i will bett that it will show well over 300hp at the wheels several people have dynoed there trucks and got 280 plus at the rear wheels with stock exhaust and thats with less mods then me my truck weighs 4800 pounds my times are real and the exhaust mods realy work
this ...jewmount guy is a real jackass and is in denial all he can do is talk **** behind his computer what a puss...sounds like he needs to get his head out of his ass....im not some young punk talking **** im 38 years old and i have been racing for over 20 years
March 27, 2004hemi777,
Well, you convinced me! The laws of Physics don't apply to your truck. That 50+ hp you need over factory already assumed the vehicle was optimized, both with suspension and areodynamics, to run the 1/4!
Dyno's are fun and can teach you alot, but I agree their is nothing like puttin your foot to the floor and lettin her rip down the strip.
I love v8's! I don't care what ya stuff it in or what brand you label it with. People make 600hp 4 bangers. For the same money and work a v8 will give you 1000hp. Cubic inches baby! gotta love em.
The only person I see you have upset with these posts is yourself. You have now resorted to name calling. Boy, that's gotta make you proud!
The rest of them, well when they can get up off the floor from laughing out loud at your silly claims of HP gains, then maybe they might be able to respond to your posts. As I have already said, I've wasted enough time this.
...and the truth shall set you free...
